About the Course:

This course is based on a manual that is designed for use by qualified mental health professionals who work with substance abuse and mental health clients with concurrent anger problems. The approach to treatment utilizes a detailed set of twelve 90-minute cognitive behavioral anger management group treatment sessions. The treatment model used is a combined CBT approach that employs relaxation, cognitive, and communication skills interventions. A workbook for clients is part of the treatment program.
