About the Course:

This course provides information about the identification and treatment of childhood anxiety disorders and related problems. It draws upon information from several highly credible sources, including governmental and other publications. Issues presented include classification and continuum of childhood anxiety problems, interventions for childhood anxiety problems, and maintaining a broad perspective on anxiety problems. Ideas regarding accommodation to reduce anxiety problems, behavior management, empirically supported treatments, and medications are offered. Several resources and references are cited, including those for online information.
